Rotherham Advice and Information Network
Rotherham Advice and Information Network (RAIN) is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Established for 13 years we exist to:
- provide the public with signposting information about advice and advocacy services
- support the development of such services in the borough and across South Yorkshire.
Mission Statement
To promote quality advice and information in the region.
RAIN has four strategic aims:
- To support people to find advice and information and related services that they need.
- To provide access to information, training and support to assist the development of agencies offering advice and information and related support and guidance to the public.
- To influence strategic and policy development in the borough and the region, which has an impact on RAIN and its work.
- To build the organisations capacity and financial stability.
Trustees
A Board of Trustees currently directs RAIN. The individuals provide skills and experience to support a wide range of activities including planning and development, research and financial management.
