Rotherham Advice and Information Network

Rotherham Advice and Information Network (RAIN) is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Established for 13 years we exist to:

  1. provide the public with signposting information about advice and advocacy services
  2. support the development of such services in the borough and across South Yorkshire.

Mission Statement

To promote quality advice and information in the region.

RAIN has four strategic aims:

  1. To support people to find advice and information and related services that they need.
  2. To provide access to information, training and support to assist the development of agencies offering advice and information and related support and guidance to the public.
  3. To influence strategic and policy development in the borough and the region, which has an impact on RAIN and its work.
  4. To build the organisations capacity and financial stability.

Trustees

A Board of Trustees currently directs RAIN. The individuals provide skills and experience to support a wide range of activities including planning and development, research and financial management.
Meetings are held monthly.
